We specialise in the woodworking industry, as most of our customers are Kitchen fitters , Furniture/cabinet makers, carpenters and joiners or boat builders, hence the company name CHIPPYS MATE.
CHIPPYS MATE is situated on the outskirts of Norwich and is easily accessible from the A47 southern bypass. We consist of an industrial unit which has a well-stocked showroom for customers to visit. We are able to deliver to the customer on a weekly basis, largely by our own vehicle or via a carrier service. CHIPPYS MATE was established early 2004 by Darren Colk and Andy Kirby, who between them have over 30 years experience within the trade, including overseas experience of manufacturing furniture in Africa. In early 2005,due to customer demand, Chippysmate branched out into the kitchen componant market, becoming the premier HAFELE supplier for the whole of Norfolk. This enabled them to source and supply items, such as softclose runners, pull out wastebins and larders, glass splashbacks, and breakfast-bar legs etc, at great trade prices, with free delivery in and around the Norfolk area and with no minimum order. Then in 2006 they began selling flat packed 18mm kitchen units complete with BLUM softclose fittings, and replacement kitchen doors custom made to the customers size, colour and style. By branching out into these areas they have enabled the kitchen fitters, small builders, property developers and carpenters to source all of their requirements under one roof at great TRADE PRICES. 2007 began with a move to larger premises on the site and the launch of KITCHEN SOLUTIONS. This enabled them to sell to the general public as well as trade and show a vast range of display kitchens with a choice of hundreds of colours/styles . this range is often enveyed by local kitchen studios and the large shed style warehouses. ie. b&q , homebase ,etc.as this allows the customers far more choice and a better chance of catering to their exact needs and tastes,but still keeping that vital personal service they have built the business on.
